I was tasked to come up with a product design for MyfittingExp and MyRoundPro apps.

  • User research,
  • Information architecture
  • Stakeholder communications
  • Usability testing
  • Wireframing
  • UI design
  • Design requirement documentation
  • Leadership in managing and guiding design requests within an agile team

Carried out contextual enquiries and user research in measuring golf ball trajectory, using proprietary radar technologies. Researched the red routes and mental models golfers have and look for to enhance their game by:

  1. Interviewing regular golfers, pros and golf trainers.
  2. Carrying out card sorting exercises both remote and in person

With this persona discoveries, I was able to come up with an information architecture, keyword analysis that was the foundation for delivering an intuitive solution. I was able to interpret all these data from the trajectories measurement into an intuitive and very understandable solution.

Sketched, Wireframed and Designed the application that allowed golf players, golf reps and golf pros to consume this data in a very user-friendly way and intuitive way.

Prototyped using Invasion app, Sketch app and Principle for mac. Did continuous iterative usability test as the design progressed

Delivered the UI design language, making sure it was consistent with existing company visual language. Introduced modern design methodologies that enhanced faster and more accurate design to dev collaborations, by introducing tools like zeplin, symphli to the dev team.

At contract end, I was able to deliver a concrete data-driven, provable, functional solutions for that brief.

Key product features

  1. Golfers now have the ability to book fitting experiences anywhere, worldwide on mobile and desktop . Data is collected during the fitting by the app which enables the app to suggest recommendations tailored to their skill level .
  2. They are able to select, edit, configure this recommendation to their taste and make a purchase that can be delivered at their clubs or at home.
  3. Golfers are able to automatically compare their skill set data with the best worldwide and copy the tools and settings of players they like. They can review videos of all their test shots and puts to calculate where they can make improvements.

Nick Frame

“First and foremost Godslove is a great guy. He worked well with everyone in all our teams, just great to have around. Technically he’s great at research, and analysis driven UX. Then has enough savvy to know how to position his work to the right stake holders. Pleasure to have had him in my team, and very happy to recommend him and his work. ”
